How do I find a job ?
At JobFact, you need to be a member to be able to read and apply for any job offer. To become a member, you must publish your Salary and/or a company Review, and/or your anonymous CV. It's free. Once you are a member, you can find a job in the following two ways:
1. "You are actively looking for a job" : Our search engine and job monitoring system will ensure that you do not to miss any job opportunities published on our site in which you are interested. You will have access to any job offers that have been published in our job offers database.
2. "You are monitoring your market and/or are ready to be skills-hunted" : Targeted job offers are sent directly to your JobFact inbox by recruiters. These job offers are readable only by members who, like you, have received the offer. Only members who receive the offer are able to respond to the offer. You will not have to do anything to receive these offers and will remain totally anonymous. You can increase your probabilityof being skills-hunted or targeted by recruiters by adding to the information contained in your anonymous CV.
What do you do with the anonymous data posted on JobFact?
In addition to the services and information offered to members, JobFact aims to provide companies with information to help them with recruitment retention of staff, allow them greater insight into their internal social climate and improve their competitive positioning on a number of bases by benchmarking to their competitor set. JobFact has developed a series of analytical tools that aggregate all our data in order to generate employer-focused reports about, inter alia, their employees' well-being and professional satisfaction.
Rest assured, your username and email address will never be shared with any of our corporate clients.
How do I change or delete a posting?
If you believe that a post, a comment, or any other content published by one of our members does not comply with our Community Rules, please let us know. Send an email to publications@jobfact.com and we will review your query as a matter of priority.
How do you calculate the satisfaction percentages on management and companies?
The satisfaction percentages are an arithmetical average of all satisfaction criteria posted by our members. Higher values indicate better performance. For Top Management Ratings, there are three levels of grading.
A grade from 4 to 5 is considered "approval", 1 to 2 means "disapproval" and 3 means "neutral".
What if I am a student and I do not have any work experience to talk about?
If you are a student and have never had a job, we understand - we've all been there. Send us an email at students@jobfact.com and we will happily assist you. Send your request from your personal email address provided by your university or college. Don't forget you can also post a company review and/or salary in relation to a company if you had an internship there. This could be useful to other potential interns.
Why is my company review not on the website?
We review every submission to make sure that its content is in line with our quality standards and Community Rules. You will only see your submission published on JobFact if it is approved by our Moderation team. We do our best to publish all submitted content within 48 hours but given the volume of content we receive at peak periods it can sometimes take a little longer. If your submission is ultimately not published, it could result in one of two things, depending on your membership status:
1. If you are not a validated member: access to all our unique content is not granted until you have posted content which our moderation team has approved. In the event your post does not comply with our quality standards or Community Rules (and is therefore rejected), you will be invited to post again in order to gain access to all JobFact's information and services.
2. If you are an existing JobFact member: but your most recent contribution does not comply with our quality standards or Community Rules. For example, you have submitted a new contribution on a current or former job but our moderation team decided that it does not comply with our Community Rules. In this case, you will still have access to our website, and you will receive an email stating that your contribution has been rejected.
How can I edit or erase a review that I have already posted?
In order for JobFact to maintain control over the content of our website, it is not possible for you to edit your content directly.
If you feel uncomfortable about what you have written, or feel you have exposed yourself by what you have said, and wish to have your review removed from the website, send an email to publications@jobfact.com and we will remove it for you as a matter of priority.
What should I say when I write my review?
Think about what YOU would like to know about other companies and what would be helpful to other members. Talking about "pros" and "cons" is a good starting point. You can also write about advice you would give to Senior Management. You should always remain constructive and balanced.
How can I be sure that I will remain totally anonymous ?
1. Because you are not asked to provide any of your personal details other than a username and a valid email address.
2. Because your email address is neither communicated to any 3rd party nor accessible to any user.
3. Because each of your posts is reviewed for particularly sensitive information by a member of the JobFact team before being published on the website.
4. Because if your post includes information that we think is a threat for your confidentiality, we won’t publish it on our website.
We will always choose to have fewer reviews and comments than to put at risk the trust and anonymity of our members.
As a word of caution, if you submit illegal content or information which is protected by your company which you are not allowed to disclose, we could be forced to disclose all required information to the relevant authorities (including your IP address and email address). So please give some thought to your comments and avoid such behaviour!
Why should I post a company Review or a Salary ?
In order to access the information that has been posted by all our other members, you must share with us some information of your own, in line with our Community Rules. Typical reasons to do this include:
1. You are negotiating a pay rise with your current employer and would like to know how much the role above you pays or how much an equivalent role at a competitor pays.
2. You want to move to another company and would like to know how much you can expect to earn there and what it is really like to work there.
3. You are satisfied in your current position, but curiosity has got the better of you.
4. You feel your insights about your company will be helpful to others and want to share them.
5. You are interested in being contacted recruiters who have singled out your profile because it fits the description of a role he/she is trying to fill, all while staying anonymous.
It will take you less than 5 minutes to complete the membership procedure and any information you share will stay totally anonymous.
